Blur Continued

This is another Blur image that I did. I really like how symmetrical her hands are in the picture, and the amount of Blur. This was my favorite project!!

BLUR Project (Final)!

These are my first 2 prints from the Blur project. I REALLY REALLY liked how these turned out! The hair in the first picture looks really cool and I love the hand in the second picture. I can't wait to print more!

Scan Images

We used the scanner to scan our faces and other things. It was really cool to see what it did!

Self Portrait Images

These are 4 of my prints from the Self Portrait project. I think my favorite one is the third, the one I took while on Photo Booth on my home computer. I like that it is a "picture in a picture" and how it uses other technology.

Self Portraits

This is my Contact Sheet for my Self Portrait Role. To be honest, I pretty much hated this assignment. I didn't feel like I had any creative ideas, plus I felt awkward doing all the poses.

Portrait Project

For the Portrait Project, I wanted to photograph people who were interesting to me. Having known this little girl since birth, I knew it was perfect. These were the first 3 I printed.

"Anything" Role Images

These were the two prints that turned out best for my first role of film. The one of my horse is my personal favorite. I like his facial expression, as well as the fence and house in the background, adding depth.
The basketball hoop picture was taken at sunset so the clouds were really interesting, I just wish it wasn't so dark in front of the hoop...

The "Anything" Role!

This is my first contact sheet printed for our first role. It turned out a little too dark, but the purpose of this is simply to be able to see all your images as positives, it doesn't need to be perfect.

Alphabet Project

This project was the Alphabet Project. We needed to take photos of things naturally present that looked like letters of the alphabet. With my letters, I chose to write the word "Family." Family is a huge part of my life. I love getting to spend time with my cousins, so that is the reason I chose this word.

Pinhole Project From Negative to Positive

For our first Photo 1 Project, we used a pinhole camera to take pictures and learned how to develop them into positives using both chemicals and a computer.
My first set of images was taken in Sophomore Hall and the exposure time was 2 minutes and 30 seconds. I chose this location because I liked the way the hall overhead lights looked, as well as the stairs.
My 2nd set of photos are my favorite. I took a picture of the commons and the sign that was hanging above. The sign had really interesting designs and the lights also looked interesting.
